At almost 9 weeks, we had the first OB appointment. I was extremely nervous for this appointment. I know Chuck was a little nervous as well, but he helped calm me down prior to the appointment. Luckily, they did the ultrasound first and checked my blood pressure much later in the appointment, because I'm sure my BP was elevated (from nervousness and excitement) when I first walked into the office. The ultrasound showed a perfect little baby, measuring very close to my projected due date of October 16, with a heartbeat of 160. Listening to the heartbeat was such a sweet, amazing sound!
