Trip to Texas

At the end of March, Hadley took her first flight as we headed to Texas for a long weekend! She did great on the airplane- only having a minor meltdown as we started to descend. The flight attendant even gave her a pair of wings for her first flight! (I remember getting these as a child and was surprised that they still do it!)

Once we arrived in Texas, the fun began! Mimi had just moved into a new house and we were excited to see the house and all of the changes she had made and all of their hard work unpacking and getting settled the past few weeks! A special thanks to Mimi, Joy, and Brad for making us feel at home and for all of the special touches to make sure Hadley was comfortable while there!

We all had a great weekend hanging out together and entertaining and being entertained by Hadley! She had more belly laughs that weekend than we have ever seen or heard from her! She cut her first two teeth while in Dallas too, which made for a bit of a rough afternoon one day, but she was a trooper! As always, it was difficult to leave....but...the next time we see them we'll all be vacationing in PARADISE! :)
