Beautiful March Weather & H's Surgery

It has been crazy-warm the past couple weeks, and we have been outside enjoying the weather almost every day! Hadley LOVES being outside, and it's a challenge getting her to willingly come inside! One of her favorite things to do is go on wagon rides. She also loves her new slide that Lindsay Rivers is letting us borrow!

Hadley signing "More"- as in, she wants to go down the slide again...

On Monday, Hadley had to have tubes placed in both of her ears. She hadn't had many ear infections until early January, but she was on 6 rounds of antibiotics from January through mid-March and each time she finished one round we'd have to go back to the doctor because of fevers and irritability through the night. The ENT recommended tubes and luckily we did not have to wait very long to schedule her surgery. It's amazing- the procedure only lasted about 5 minutes and she was out of our arms for a total of 15 minutes (yes, Chuck timed it...). While I didn't love the fact that she needed surgery, it is a huge relief knowing that the procedure went well and hopefully she will be feeling much better and be able to hear/talk better as well- and this chica has a LOT to say these days!

Pre-op...waiting in her hospital gown and no-skid socks :)

Later that day....feeling well and crawling through her tunnel!
