Last weekend, we traveled to Evansville {Newburgh} for a Surprise Birthday party for Grandma Kaplan! Chuck's dad had been planning the party for months, so he and Chuck's step-brothers knew that we were driving down for the party, but she had no clue!
Our little traveler did so well in the car! We only had to stop once on the way down to feed her and do a {not so quick} diaper (and complete outfit) change. Once we arrived in Newburgh, we stopped at Clayton's house for a little while to give Hadley some much-needed time to stretch out and play after the long car ride. Then, we headed to Biaggi's for the party! The big suprise went as planned, and we had a delicious dinner and an overall wonderful evening spending time with the Kaplan side of the family and their friends.
As always, the visit seemed too short and we had to head home shortly after getting up Sunday morning. However, we're already looking forward to our next visit this summer when we can see everyone again and swim with Hadley in their pool!
